Tag Heuer Connected felicitated with German Design Award for its first Android smartwatch

The Tag Heuer Connected is the first Android Wear smartphone made by a Swiss watchmaker. The luxury wrist wearable has a big display and a stainless steel frame complying to be wonderful piece of wrist wear.

A contemporary product that combines advanced technology and design to luxurious effect,” commented German Design Council on awarding Tag Heuer Connected

Qualifying the jury of high-caliber from the various fraternity of business, education, science and design industry. Tag Heuer Connected positioned first place within the category of Luxury Goods.

The German Design Award honours pioneering developments and products, their manufacturers and designers who are working in the progress of German design standards.

“It is a great honour to receive this Award for Tag Heuer. The German market is important for us, and the German Design Award a reference. Our smartwatch is in first line a Watch, looks like a Watch, feels like a Watch and has the soul of a WATCH. One could also add one other difference which is that the Tag Heuer Connected is made with the same precision and Swiss quality as all our Swiss Made watches. I believe that this is the biggest and unique difference with other great connected watches,” speaking on the occasion Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Tag Heuer said.
